		<description>Frank, I&#039;m not sure if you&#039;re joking, but the Principle of Mediocrity is not an ideal or an aspiration.  It&#039;s an assumption about the universe and our position in it.  If that assumption turns out to be false, then we need to resolve some other issues, like: why is our universe suited for our sort of life?  So, I agree with Nathan: mediocrity is an a minimalist assumption.</description>
