					<description>Frank, I'm not sure if you're joking, but the Principle of Mediocrity is not an ideal or an aspiration.  It's an assumption about the universe and our position in it.  If that assumption turns out to be false, then we need to resolve some other issues, like: why is our universe suited for our sort of life?  So, I agree with Nathan: mediocrity is an a minimalist assumption.</description>
