I’ve decided to jump on the blog bandwagon. Better late than never. I’ll explain briefly why I’m doing this, but first let me ask: why are you reading this?

When I was between jobs a couple of years ago, I decided to start writing a series of essays on topics of interest to me. My goals were to clarify my own ideas and to have something finished which I could point to when talking about them with other people. I managed to finish a few. Unfortunately, when I started working again, the essays fell by the wayside.

The goal of this blog is the same thing on a smaller scale. My hope is that the more casual approach of the blog will let me write down my thoughts in smaller chunks. I’ll see how well it works over time.
